A short history

Our company was created in 1998, and since then we have given more than 400,000 hours of training in 180 companies, which include for example BSH Electrodomésticos (Balay), Saica, Pikolin, Adidas, CAF, HMY Yudigar, Esprinet, INYCOM, Dana Automoción, MANN+HUMMEL, Heraldo de Aragón, Valeo Térmico o Ibercaja.

Our principles

At Schindler we promote respect, honesty, responsibility and integrity, we defend these ethical values in each and every one of our activities.

All of us at Schindler seek to provide a service that is top quality in every respect; from the preparation, delivery and monitoring of the classes, to the coaching processes, translations and the general consultancy. We want our clients to obtain the best results and at the same time feel at ease working with us.

With regard to Schindler’s internal organisation, we provide all our employees with complete legal cover, a fitting remuneration and at the same time we guarantee an agreeable working environment.

What services do we offer?

General language courses in 9 languages (English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Chinese and Spanish as a second language).

Specialised courses (business presentations, meetings, negotiations, social skills, etc) bespoke for each client.

Immersion courses (20 or 40 hours of class in one week).

Telephone classes.

Online classes using Teams, Skype for Business, Zoom or WebEx.

Coaching sessions in Spanish, English and German.

Seminars, workshops and conferences in Spanish, English and German, on the topics of motivation, strengths and personal skills, life balance, professional development and stress management.

How much do our classes cost? Our fees

We want to offer maximum transparency from the start. This is why our fees are the same for all our clients, in every language and no matter how many students there are in the class. The price per hour is the same if there is one student or a group of six. Classes are exempt of VAT charges.

As many of our clients are based outside the city, we have a base fee for classes in the centre of Zaragoza and this fee increases depending on the distance from the centre.

With regard to invoicing, at the end of each month, we total the number of hours delivered and issue an invoice for the number of hours given, with a due date of 30 days.

If a client cancels a class with more than 24 hours’ notice, we do not invoice the class; if the class is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice it is invoiced.

If a client wishes to apply for FUNDAE subsidised courses, we can put them in contact with either Ordesa Activa o CEPYME Aragón, organisations which can process these subsidies for them.

Our teachers

acomp_profesores

There are companies that categorically ask for a native teacher. We are very happy to have teachers from the UK, Germany, France or Italy, for example, but the precedence of a teacher does not make them a better or worse teacher.

We select and hire professionals who master the language but this requirement is not enough. A native teacher speaks the language perfectly, but this does not mean they are an excellent teacher. Alongside the proficiency in a language, which the non-native teachers have to acquire, we look for teachers who are able to transmit the language, teachers who understand their students (working adults) and are able to motivate them, teachers who understand the workings of a company and the needs of their students and of course teachers who are friendly and polite.

We believe that our teachers, regardless of their country of origin, meet all these requirements and we are very happy with the rating that our clients give them. Since we founded our company, we have had teachers from more than 22 countries working with us.

Our timetables

We give classes from Monday to Friday, from 7.30 am to 8.30 pm.

Although we have peak times with a lot of classes (first thing in the morning and in the afternoons), we always try to adapt to the needs and timetables of our clients and students.

Our office is open from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm (on Fridays from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm.
